Journeys connects to other systems in two ways:
App marketplace: Ready-made integrations that 50skills builds and maintains.
Custom integrations: Integrations your team builds and maintains.
Start with the app marketplace. If an app covers what you need, we recommend using it. A custom integration may be a good fit if your system hasn't been added to the marketplace or you need actions the app doesn’t include.
App marketplace
The app marketplace is the easiest way to connect Journeys to other systems.
Marketplace apps give you ready-made actions for supported systems. 50skills builds and maintains the integrations.

To connect an app and start using its actions, follow Connect a marketplace app.
Custom integrations
With a custom integration, your team configures the authentication and API endpoints in Settings → Integrations → Custom integrations.
Custom integrations are a good fit for:
Systems that aren’t available in the app marketplace, including niche or industry-specific software.
Internal systems or APIs your organisation has built.
Actions that a marketplace app doesn’t include.
For setup, you’ll need someone who has experience with REST APIs and can read API documentation. Your team is responsible for keeping the integration up to date when the system’s API changes.
