This guide will walk you through the steps needed to set permissions for your service user. Once the service user has been created, click on Go to permission groups.
If you lost the chance to click on that button, you can still get to permission groups if you go to Settings → Account → Permission groups.
Once there:
Click Create permission group and select Service user from the dropdown.
Give the group a name (e.g 50skills), select the Service user you created earlier from the dropdown and click Create.
Once the group is created, you'll see two tabs: Features and People's data.
Under the Features tab, click on Edit permissions and enable the following:
Advanced analytics:
✅ Enable Advanced analytics access
Docs:
✅ Enable Docs access
People:
✅ Enable everything under people.
Lists:
✅ Edit all lists (sites, job titles, etc.)
Organisational chart:
✅ Enable organisational charts
Reports:
✅ Enable Reports access
Tasks and flows:
✅ Enable Tasks and flows access
Time off:
✅ Enable Time off access
Do not forget to check all the boxes you can for every section, and click Save for every change!
Next, on the People's data tab, set Access data for like this, then click on Edit and on the trash icon to delete the condition and Apply
To finish, on People's data tab, same process, enable the following:
Docs ✅
People ✅
Tasks and flows ✅
Time off ✅
You can now go back to Journeys and finish the connection process. 🎉
